A gorgeous fish bowl-shaped jardiniere from the Meiji-Taisho Period (the early 1900s). This cache pot features a bulbous body, short neck, and wide flat lip. It’s beautifully painted with birds, flowers,s, and foliage in cobalt blue and white shade. There is a lovely repeat pattern motif on the lip as well as on the neck. A wooden pedestal is included.
